Cuori Selvaggi (Wild Hearts) is a series of imaginative posthumous conversations that explore shyness as a political and poetic form of expression. Inspired by the Interviste Impossibili aired on Radio Rai in the 1970s, the project emerges from the research “un bacio, G – Exploring Shyness through Sound Artivism: A Journey in Autofiction”, and unfolds through a collective practice of self-narration, disguise, and sound performance. Through fictional interviews conducted by friendly and allied voices, the project delves into universal themes such as love, motherhood, friendship, artistic production, and family relationships, using shyness as a lens through which to observe our shared vulnerability. Rooted in a territorial and emotional context (Ticino), Cuori Selvaggi aims to speak to a wider community through sound, radio, and imagination as tools of feminist activism and meaning-making.
